  1. 2008-02-15 Banlist.nl is back!

  3. 2007-12-16 Forums and online banlists closed

    Two hours ago, the sponsor of banlist.nl has shut down the servers which held the forums and online banlists for WC3Banlist. We cannot restore it, since they haven't created a backup. We couldn't copy it to another server, since the time was too short to find one. Maybe heftig has a copy of the scripts, so we can at least restore the banlist service. However the accounts, all the online banlists and forum threads are gone. :(

    Banlist.nl is back online! It is now hosted by Redwebs.

    Banlist.nl is going to be offline for a while. The reason is the high database load that the approved hosts and buddies' banlists system are causing. Cesare, the host of Banlist.nl, has other customers using the server and there have been complaints. Please stand by until Cesare has found a new server to move to.

    For answers on already asked questions you can use the Google search and view the cached page if your search criteria has a hit.

  8. 2006-03-01 WC3Banlist 3.0 released

    Once again a hard bunch of work done. :) All the changes and information on the new version are available in the Banlist.nl Forum Thread.

  9. 2005-12-09 WC3Banlist 2.82 released

    The remaining minor bugs have been fixed. For details have a look at the download page.

    Two new features:
    • automated export of local database on shutdown (see Pref->Misc)
    • server lists can be backed up on successful download and used if the list source is not available

  11. 2005-12-03 WC3Banlist 2.8 released

    After months of collecting ideas, proposals and bug reports, we can proudly present you the final release of WC3Banlist version 2.8. Many bugs have been fixed (although I doubt all were) and some really nice new features have been added. I want to name some of those:

    • Semi-Automatic Game Joining
      As soon as your friend enters a game its name is copied to the clipboard, so you can easily follow him.
    • Slot Reservations
      You can have slots reserved for certains persons or even a group of people like clan mates.
    • Faster Buddies' Banlists
      The scripts of Banlist.nl have been reworked by heftig. WC3Banlist 2.8 supports them. Older versions of WC3Banlist are incompatible with them, sorry.
    • Auto Update Notifications
      WC3Banlist can automatically alert you when a new version is available, so you'll never miss one.
    • Support for Spoof Checking by Whispers
      The background coloring of the player table as well as a new command help you to fight against name spoofers.

    Special thanks go to heftig and all the other beta testers for their support during the hot phase before the release. I am also happy to see that a little community has formed, so that it's not neccessarily me who has to answer all the noob questions. ;-)
